Sarah Allen brings over 30 years of corporate and government executive leadership experience.
A Professional Speaker on achieving successful and sustainable contracts and leadership in the government space, Sarah’s business: Green Door Finance, solves financial, contracting and programmatic challenges for sustainable business practices and offers workshops for responsible program management. Sarah has operational program and financial leadership experience within the Space and Technology sector working with a variety of federal and state departments to include NASA, the Department of Defense, Hawaii State Department of Information Technology, Transportation and University of Hawaii. Sarah’s programmatic experience covers high-volume, technical portfolios for large public federal contractors, where Sarah headed exercise teams evaluating new technologies for the Pacific, she was a Senior Program Portfolio Manager for KBR in Kihei Maui, managing several federal space-related programs with the Air Force Research Laboratory and U.S. Space Force. Sarah spent seven years as the Hawaii State Procurement Administrator and Chief Procurement Officer for the Hawaii State Executive Branch. Prior to this, Sarah worked as Senior Advisor with ASI Government assisting in Contracts with the Pentagon Army Intelligence and National Geospatial Intelligence Agency and is a U.S. Airforce Veteran.
Sarah holds a Global Executive MBA, a Masters in Acquisition Management, a Bachelor’s in Finance, and PMP Certification. Her awards include Team of the Year, Superior Performer, Company Grade Officer of the Year, and Hickam’s Very Important Patriot Award.
Sarah was born in South Africa, and spent many years working across Africa, Europe and the Pacific, till she found her forever home in Hawaii. Her love of Aloha and the diversity of East meets West has inspired Sarah to include these vital tools in her life and her work.
